Living Daily life aligned with my values

I write journals and came across the below from a quite old journal book. It is my own reminder and for anyone who knows but needs to hear this one more time from someone else who care. Work hard, play hard and take yourself hard!

  • There’s nothing import than my health and peace in my heart

I accept my resources are limited whether that’s time and energy. There is a difference between over-working vs. working hard. Work focused and learn to take a break too. I welcome any daily practices that brings peace. Peaceful heart opens many nice doors and much needed my mental health.

  • Respect and Trust how I feel

I always have a plan to have a good day. Why would not do it? Despite of my intentions and desires, bad days often feel too bad. Things can happen, bad news among people I care, breaking my favorite mug and many other big and small things can stir my day. I often find myself to apply logic and convince myself. There are people who are in worse condition and I should be happy. Or I can’t believe I am upset over this. Even worse, I am not sure how and why I feel this way today. Stop pushing yourself and your emotions away. Trust that my feelings are always right and accurate. I need to listen to my inner voice without judgement. I have every right to feel this way.

  • Happy-me is happy family.

I need and want to be a model of being happy and content with my life. My cup needs to be full first to fill others. I also want to be a model for my son. I want him to grow up admiring adult life that he will get into and working can be great. Watch out for the unspoken impressions that I give to my family.

  • Make a room to connect with myself

Full-time job with a kid to raise is enough to get my days filled with things to do but I have my own needs. I need the time to read books (I always have a book going), reflect, journaling, share thoughts (via this blog), other things I want and sometimes simply do nothing. Then I can unwind from the day and relax a bit before bed. This practice in the evening reset my mood and body ready for the night and next day.

  • I came to this planet to experience and enjoy the process.

Each experience either good or bad contribute to my life. This life experience is the essence of being alive. Enjoy nature, people, work, family, friends, house chores and everything I come across daily basis. When these moments are all combined, it is called my life.
