I Often Say “If you love me, be happy”

My Own Utopian Experiment #22: Live by my own words, “If you love me, be happy.”

I say, “If you love me, be happy” often to someone who is too sad for me or worry about me. Even though they have valid reasons to do so, that’s how I truly feel and ask this directly. All I need is your warm words and some time to spend together. At the end of the day, I want you to be happy for yourself and more for me.

I had an event that I really need to live by my own words. It has not been easy. The heaven obtained one of the beautiful souls. I lost a friend at work. I do not want my readers to be sad with this post but taking this as an opportunity to think about what really matters, what and why we are stressed and reminder to live our daily life in the quality your soul deserves. An event like this often shakes our cores and pushes us to reprioritize our daily life.

Right now, nothing seems to be that important as long as we all live. The stresses I carried seem foolish now. I was stressed about things that just come and go while I could lose someone. We all have limited time here so daily contentment is what we need to achieve. When we are stressed or upset about something, let’s really think about where we are coming from. We have family and friends. We have a work place to go to. Our paycheck comes in regularly. We do not have major life-threatening illnesses. We have today that we will not be able to get it back. The time we should spend to eat, sleep and enjoy the people you love. When I really think about things that I complained about before this happened, I feel ashamed. It is so trivial. It is so part of living. I had that “problem” because I get to live. As long as we all have our days and live, nothing else matters and they are often things that we can fix or change.

Don’t postpone seeing someone you love. Don’t postpone calling someone you love, miss and get in touch with. Do the things as your heart calls. Love the life you have despite all the “problems”. Enjoy your day. I will take a couple weeks break from posting. Again, I hope this does not make anyone sad. If you love me, be happy. Sending my love as always.
