Thanksgiving is coming and let’s celebrate the true meaning of the holiday through gratitude practices next two weeks. Truly give thanks to all we have in our lives. I hope all of you join. I picked the first one for people in our lives. If you have immediate reactions of no or few names, please give more time and your mindfulness while you are doing it. You will end up with a nice list. Here are mine.
Thanks for abundance of nice people in my life.

- Who are warm-hearted friends
- Who teaches me how to give back and reach out
- Who Share love and their lives
- Who Play, get together and connect with me regularly
- Who open their homes and even share friends
- Who are contented and happy most of the times
- Who has good vibes: enjoy life and people
- Who welcomes me all the time
- Who helped me before (This goes as far as my childhood all the way up to now)
- Who is not judgmental: open-minded and growth mindset
- Who is positive & encouraging
- Who is close but keeping healthy boundaries
- Who is funny
- Who is the nerdiest folks to discuss psychology and life stuff
- Who is never be a stranger
- Who cooked food when I was really hurt and sick (They had jobs and families to take care of.)
- Who came for me while I was recovering
- Who sends me Christmas cards each year
- Who checked on me during pandemic
- Who rent me books: my book club
- Who get together brunches with me
- Who meets me for lunch between work
- Who talks to me on the phone more than 30 mins
- Who has playdates with my son
- Some nice strangers I come across daily basis: who opens the door, who gave me 25 cents to use a shopping cart when I did not have change, who offer an umbrella in a stormy parking lot, who say hello, etc.
- One honor-level stranger who returned my lost cell phone
- All of those who supported me doing my blog this year: Who read my posts, commenters and subscribers!
- My co-workers: they are somewhat crazy but can be worse
- My family
- My neighbors
- Servers at my favorite restaurants: they make the dinning experience 200% better!
- Gardeners who share home-grown veggies each year
- Who can tell me the truth when they are not happy
- Who gave all the candies and drinks on each Halloween
- My first boss still meets me for lunch a couple times a year: nice to grow old together!
- Friends do not contact often but always show up at emergencies for entire my adult life
- New a few people I met recently.
I will stop here but there are so much more things to be grateful for. I do not take you for granted and I never will. I cherish your friendships and really appreciate it. Thanksgiving is just a nice excuse to say. Please share your thoughts in comments.

Great idea! I think we all should practice it all year round. There is so much to be grateful for in our lives. We should definitely focus more on gratitude and appreciation.
